Function

At room teperature: The ventilation between 2 rooms will be ensured as per normal conditions.
Under fire conditions: The ventilation will be interrupted and the fire resisting function will come into effect.

Working Principle

• The closing of the ventilation opening is realized by the louvres that expand/swell so much that the ventilation is closed off above temperatures of ±120ºC.
• This will act as a static fire resistant closure for 60 Minutes

Mounting

• The grid is simply mounted in the opening that should be ventilated.
• The gap between the grid and the wall is then filled with a fire resistant putty/foam or silicone.
• A Test Certificate is available on request.

• Types W65/1 and W66/1 with frame
• Types W65/2 and W66/2 with frame and counter frame.
• Frame and Louvres are made of expanding/swelling material
• Mounted with synthetic plugs
• Outside frame - aluminium, anodized in natural colours. Other colours available on request.
• Special sizes available on request
